Message from the Chairs: On behalf of the Steering Committee of the World Conference on Interventional Oncology (WCIO), the Organizing Committee of the WCIO 2009, Chinese Medical Association (CMA) and Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA), it is our pleasure to invite you to the WCIO 2009. The mission of the WCIO is to provide the scientific and educational forum where international experts from multiple disciplines can gather and advance the future of cancer therapy by exploring the potential synergy of minimal invasive strategies with traditional and other new therapeutic procedures.
This WCIO 2009 will be based on the success of the previous conferences in Italy, Washington DC, and Los Angeles from 2006 to 2008. In partnership with the CMA and CACA, this is the first time that WCIO will be held in Asia where the West will meet the East.
The goal of the WCIO 2009 Scientific Program Committee is to present cutting edge information on the latest advances in scientific and clinical research in a setting that focuses on Interventional Oncology.
This conference welcomes all oncology specialists, who are interested in learning more about collaborating with other oncology specialties on how to care for the cancer patient, using image guidance technology. Please join us for a unique World Conference and share critical medical information and ideas in a spectacular setting - the World Conference on Interventional Oncology in Beijing, China, on June 25-28, 2009.
In addition to scientific programs, this conference will also offer abundant choices for social programs and various post-conference tours. You will have an amazing experience exploring the ancient capital, Beijing, and getting to know the all aspects of Chinese culture in including history, religion and fine cuisine.
As the Chairs of the Conference, once again, we would like to extend a warm and cordial invitation to join us for this exciting gathering of colleagues and friends from all over the world.
