The British Society of Interventional Radiology is a Charitable Society, which aims to promote Interventional Radiology and support education and research within this field.
The Society organizes one annual scientific meeting and helps to promote other educational activities.
The Society has grown exponentially since it was first set up in 1988 when 78 members attended the first BSIR meeting in Stratford. Membership is now 500 with approximately 650 people attending the recent annual BSIR conference.
