Preliminary Results Announcement for the year ended 31 December 2008 also now 5th March
Biocompatibles International plc (LSE:BII) is pleased to announce that Professor Anthony Watkinson FRCS, FRCR, Professor of Radiology at the Peninsula Medical School, The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and Dr. Peter Geigle MD, Director of CellMed AG, will present a Physicians’ Perspective on Biocompatibles’ clinical trials in Oncology and Stroke on 5th March 2009.
The date previously announced (3rd March 2009) for the announcement of the results for Company for the year ending 31st December, 2008 has been changed to enable the Physicians’ Perspective meeting and the Analyst “Results” Meeting to be combined. The 2008 results will now therefore be announced on Thursday, 5th March 2009. A Statement summarizing the 2008 results was made by the Company on January 16th 2009.

Biocompatibles International plc is a leading medical technology company in the field of drug-device combination products.
The Oncology Products Division conducts the marketing of Biocompatibles’ approved oncology products, supplied from facilities in Farnham, UK and Oxford, CT. These include Drug-Eluting Bead products which are used in more than 35 countries for the treatment of primary liver cancer (HCC), liver metastases from colorectal cancer, and other cancers; and Brachytherapy products (Radiation-Delivering Seeds) which are used in the treatment of prostate cancer.
