Do You Have any DC Bead Irinotecan Clincial Publications?
- Dr Camillo Aliberti and DR Giammaria Fiorentini of the Ospedale del Delta, Lagosante, Ferrara, Italy, have published the preliminary results of a clinical trial, in the Anticancer Research Journal
- Dr Aliberti treated twenty patients who had failed systemic chemotherapy or whose drug-eluting bead therapy was a first line treatment. In all twenty patients, a reduction in Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) of more than 50% was documented and in fifteen patients an objective tumour response at one month was observed
- Dr Aliberti concluded that Irinotecan drug-eluting beads were shown to be active and safe
