Why can't I use fluorouracil?
We have tested fluorouracil. The percentage of fluorouracil that loaded into the bead was below the limit that we set but it did load. The elution time was very fast and we do not believe that this offers advantages over intra-arterial infusion which has had limited acceptance and success. We are currently reviewing all the data we have on the list of drugs we have tested based on our current experience with DC and PRECISION BEAD.
