How can I extract all the saline from DC Bead vials?
Using a filter needle (recommended), or a needle with bore size of 19G or smaller (eg 20G), and a 10ml syringe, remove as much saline as possible from the vial DC Bead.
If beads are accidentally drawn into syringe, reintroduce them slowly, and take care not to introduce air into the vial. Air will cause the beads to float, making the process more difficult.
Pierce bung with a second needle to eliminate vacuum.
