Total life dosage is 400-450mg/m2. Using 150mg per embolistion you reach the maximum life dose quickly! What do you do then?
450mg/m2 is a lifetime SYSTEMIC dose. Due to the unique properties of DC Bead, this limit may not be applicable.
Pre-clinical work we performed indicates this may be the case but no clinical data exists to prove it.
